9-1-1 leaders from Houston, Miami and the U.S. Virgin Islands shared their first-hand experiences in preparing for and responding to the recent hurricanes that hit Florida, Texas, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.  Panelists shed light on how the 9-1-1 system performed, the challenges they faced, lessons learned, and explored the benefits of a modern IP-based Next Generation 9-1-1 system during these types of emergencies.  FCC Chairman Ajit Pai kicked off the panel by recounting his own experiences visiting the affected areas.
