Annually, the Next Generation 9-1-1 Institute awards six individuals or teams who are heroes and leaders in the 911, NG911, and emergency response community.

‍The NG911 Institute will host a hands-on Technology Showcase on Capitol Hill to provide Hill staff with opportunities to learn about and interact with the latest in public safety, NG911, emergency response, and related software/technologies as demonstrated by the Institute’s Sponsors.  The event is complimentary and will enable Hill staff and other friends of the 911 industry to listen to calls, view mapping and location technology, and see other emerging software and service offerings that support the nation’s 911 system.
